Bodycote HIP offers two value propositions for our customers:
Product Fabrication, under the Powdermet® brand, leverages our extensive know-how in Near Net Shape (NNS) processing in the manufacture of high performance, complex components through powder metallurgy and diffusion bonding
HIP Services, providing porosity removal through HIP densification for a range of components manufactured by different processes including Casting, Additive Manufacturing and Metal Injection Moulding (MIM)
Each week a typical Bodycote HIP plant will process many tons of materials such as titanium, aluminium, steel, cobalt and nickel-based superalloy castings, removing porosity and uprating the performance of parts such as turbine blades, medical implants and aerospace components.

HIPEX is a leading Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) platform and an advanced Hot Isostatic Press manufacturer in China. It has 4 HIP service centers in Beijing, Zhenjiang, Qingdao, and Weinan, equipped with 23 HIP units (from D80*120mm to D1850*3500mm) to offer HIP treating services publicly, including densification, diffusion bonding, NNS powder metallurgy, and technical support. All HIP equipment is designed and manufactured by the HIPEX team with full intellectual property.
